Our Carers
Better Care's support staff is composed of individuals who are passionate about creating a big impact in the lives of those living with limited abilites. All of our professional carers are highly experienced and have received the most up-to-date training. They are all educated on the code of conduct, policies and procedures and work within their scope of practice.
They all also hold current police checks, qualifications, first aid + CPR and working with children's checks, helping to ensure the safety of participants of all ages.
Our Founder
Hi! I'm Alysha, the owner/director of Better Care.
In my life, I have always loved helping others. I studied nursing for 2 years and fell in love with disability support work. I have 5 years' experience working within the nursing/caring industry. I personally prefer 1:1 support knowing I can give my full attention to whom I am caring for so I know I am giving them the care they deserve. I work within my scope of practice and love being able to help others enjoy life. I promote independence as much as possible but will also assist when required. It has always been a dream of mine to start my own business that I am very involved in to help others. I strive to help others achieve their goals and ensure to involve fun activities that will help achieve those goals. I am a mother of 2 kids who I was very blessed with at a young age.
